International Wine Challenge 2016
The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is the wine competition in blind tasting more respected in the world; it evaluates each wine for his loyalty to the ideal type, region and vintage. The rigorous evaluation process implies that every wine which has won a medal in the competition has been tasted on three separate occasions, by at least 10 different judges. The IWC is divided into Tranche 1 and 2, which together make up the actual competition IWC 2016. The assessment for the first tranche took place in November and the results are announced in December. The evaluation of the second tranche instead takes place in April and their results are disclosed in May. Each wine producer has the right to decide which period it suits best to your calendar and consequently what tranche register, if the first or the second. Azienda Agricola San Felice has been rewarded for its Amarone della Valpolicella 2011 – Tenute Falezza.
Mundus Vini Award
Azienda Agricola San Felice was recognised for its excellence at Mundus Vini 2015. The International Wine Award Mundus Vini was first held in 2001. The International Wine Award was first held in 2001. Even at its debut, it registered 2.235 entries from all the major wine-growing regions in the world. The target of the competition is to promote quality and the marketing of the wines entered.
